JACOB YEREX
Biography
Based in Toronto and Paris, Ontario, Jacob Yerex is a multidisciplinary artist educated at OCAD and the University of Guelph. He has balanced a studio practice with a high-profile career as a scenic artist for film and television, most notably working on the series Degrassi. Alongside his partner Salah Bachir, he is a prominent figure in the Canadian art world, well-known for his extensive philanthropy and support of LGBTQ2S communities.
